Access to Technology
The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department (AD) - Access to Technology (ATT) Project aims to support the diverse needs of older adults and adults living with disabilities by providing them access to digital connectivity. The purpose of the ATT Project is to reduce isolation, increase social connections, and enhance self-confidence among older adults and adults living with disabilities as well as increasing digital literacy for those who are eligible. Participants who are eligible will receive a tablet that is specially configured for the ATT program and digital services that include updates and remote troubleshooting.
Please note that registration will stay open upon device availability.
To qualify to participate in the ATT Project, an individual must meet all the following criteria:
- Be sixty (60) years of age or older, or eighteen (18) years of age or older with a disability.
- Reside in Los Angeles County.
- Does not currently own a mobile computerized device (excluding smart phones) such as a tablet or laptop and/or lacks internet connectivity.
Note: An individual is also eligible to participate in the program if they have access to broadband, but no device to connect.
